Introduction

So 3 years ago I was a couch potato living on hungry jacks, peanut M n M's and hot chips.....I was overweight, frumpy and not very happy with myself. I joined weight watchers and began a lifelong journey to be the best version of ME!

Weight watchers was a good starting point until I discovered calorie king and started counting calories myself for free! Once I was on top of my food, exercise was the next step....I started by joining bootcamp a couple of times a week and progressed from there....I ahve wasted many a gym membership over the years but decided this was it....I somehow became hooked!!!

I met my Personal Trainer about 2 years ago and haven't looked back....she has this energy and motivation that makes you want to do your best to make her proud...she is always supportive and pushes me when I think I can do no more.....

In May this year I attended the finale party for round 1 of the 12WBT with a friend....I had been umming and ahhing about joining as I struggled with the last 5-10kgs and was stuck in a rut of yo-yoing and bingeing.....once I heard Michelle Bridges talking at the finale party and the emotion and dedication she puts into this program, I knew it was for me!

I haven't looked back since! I lost 9.5kgs during round 2 and hit my goal weight....I have met an amazing bunch of girls whom without their support it would've made the journey a whole lot harder. The 12WBT Perth Crew are THE BOMB! One of my goals this round is to get to know them a bit better and get involved in the events presented to me.......I thrive on motivating others and helping them to achieve what I have achieved over the last few years.....it is because of this I have commenced a diploma in nutrition.

I have just started round 3 of the 12WBT for 2011 and am aiming for the top 10 of the Lean and Strong category.....if not 1st place hehe.....I believe that if u dream it, you can do it!

Anyways, thats enough rambling for me
